Output details

The PDF contains displayed workbook values and printable page layout, not editable cells or live formulas. Generated pages can be previewed, reordered, rotated, removed, merged, or downloaded separately.

How it works

  3. Use Browser visual for supported XLSX or CSV files, or Accurate local for XLS, ODS, and print-sensitive workbooks.
  4. Review sheet pagination and export one combined PDF or separate PDFs.

Processing and original-file safety

Accurate mode uses QuickerConvert for Windows on the same device. Visual mode converts supported XLSX and CSV content in the browser for a quick appearance-first PDF.

Workbooks and CSV files are not modified. The output is one combined PDF or separate PDF copies with fixed displayed values.

Tested limits and output tradeoffs

Enforced limits

  • The picker accepts multiple spreadsheet files up to 250 MB each, subject to the shared 300 MB batch ceiling.
  • Accurate jobs can continue for up to 30 minutes while the helper is healthy and reporting progress; browser download and upload phases have separate safety limits.

What the output may change

  • PDF pages contain displayed values and visual layout, not editable cells, formulas, macros, queries, or live external connections.
  • Print areas, page breaks, scaling, hidden rows, charts, very wide columns, and source workbook settings control pagination.

First-party QA note

Reviewed 2026-07-18: A first-party Accurate-mode test converted a verified 5,000-data-row workbook, plus its header row, into a readable 267-page, 11,140,873-byte PDF in about 6 minutes 59 seconds end to end. The browser long-job handling was then extended so progress-reporting conversions are not abandoned at six minutes.

Verified workbook range A1:H5001, observed the same-device conversion, distinguished end-to-end time from the helper engine event, and ran automated progress-timeout plus XLSX/CSV versus XLS/ODS compatibility tests.

Troubleshooting

  • Set print area, orientation, margins, and fit-to-page options in the source workbook when pagination is not acceptable.
  • Use Accurate mode for legacy XLS, ODS, charts, or print-sensitive workbooks.
  • Review every generated sheet page; a successful conversion does not guarantee that wide tables fit the desired paper size.

Desktop and phone notes

  • Accurate mode requires the Windows helper on the same computer; phones use Visual mode for supported XLSX and CSV files.
  • Large row counts can take several minutes and are better handled on a powered desktop device with the browser tab kept open.
