Frequently Asked Questions

Find direct answers about QuickerConvert privacy, browser support, QuickerConvert for Windows, conversion modes, supported PDF tools, account requirements, and troubleshooting.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

For supported browser tools, files are handled inside the tab. For accurate desktop conversion, QuickerConvert for Windows runs on the same device and returns the result to your browser.

Is my data stored anywhere?

No. QuickerConvert does not store your files in a database or cloud storage. Files are held in browser memory only while you are actively using a tool.

Which browsers are supported?

QuickerConvert works best in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Large or unusual PDFs can still depend on browser memory and device performance.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no account-based file limit, but large files and long documents may take longer because processing happens on your device.

What PDF tools are available?

QuickerConvert includes tools for merging, splitting, organizing, signing, editing, converting, compressing, protecting, unlocking, extracting, and checking PDFs.

Does QuickerConvert support OCR?

Yes. The OCR PDF tool can add a searchable text layer to supported scanned PDFs in the browser. Accuracy depends on scan quality, language, rotation, and device memory.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is required to use the basic PDF tools. You can start working with supported PDFs without signing up.

Why did my PDF fail to process?

Common causes include encryption, damaged files, very large documents, browser memory limits, or PDF features that are not supported by browser-based libraries.
