Processing and original-file safety

Page ranges are copied from one supported PDF into new PDF files in the browser. The document contents do not need to be sent to a QuickerConvert conversion server.

The uploaded PDF remains unchanged. Every-page, custom-range, and every-N modes produce new individual PDFs or an ordered ZIP.

Enforced limits

  • One PDF up to 100 MB can be opened per split run, with the shared browser ceiling of 750 pages.
  • A large-page warning starts at 300 pages so users can stop before a phone or low-memory browser becomes unresponsive.

What the output may change

  • Splitting preserves source pages as they are; it does not OCR scans, reflow text, or repair damaged page content.
  • A page range can retain source metadata and interactive structures, so use the privacy tools when the new file will be published.

  • Check that ranges use source page numbers, contain no zero, and do not exceed the document page count.

  • Range entry works on phones, but many individual downloads may be handled differently by iOS or Android browsers.
